Anatomy & Physiology Model Exhibition 2025 | BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi
On March 21, 2025, the first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, held a successful Anatomy & Physiology Model Exhibition. The event gave students the opportunity to present hand-crafted models of various systems of the human body, making complex anatomical concepts accessible and engaging.
Inauguration & Programme Opening
The exhibition was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Dr. Veeranna S. Jatti, Ayurvedic Physician, Shri Vinayaka Ayurvedic Hospital, Jamkhandi. The event was also attended by Dr. Shankar Teli and Ms. Sujatha Biradar, Assistant Professors from BLDEA's College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal of the College, along with faculty members.
The event began with a welcome speech by Ms. Pooja Hosakoti, UG Nursing Tutor, who emphasized the value of hands-on model building in enhancing students' understanding of anatomy and physiology. The Principal and faculty members then honored the guests with small tokens of appreciation.


Model Presentations – Body Systems
A total of 9 groups presented their models on different systems of the human body:
- Respiratory System
- Endocrine System
- Musculoskeletal System
- Renal System
- Digestive System
- Skin System
- Nervous System
- Female Reproductive System
- Circulatory System
Each group presented their models and explained their assigned system in a simple, clear, and informative way, making complex anatomical topics easy to understand. After each group's presentation, Dr. Veeranna S. Jatti and other guests praised the students for their hard work, research, attention to detail, and excellent presentations.





Guest Addresses & Closing
Following the group presentations, Dr. Veeranna S. Jatti delivered an appreciation address, recognizing the students for their research, dedication, and the quality of their models. Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, praised each group for their effort and participation, and thanked the staff for their guidance and support in making the event a success.
The exhibition was a proud moment for both students and faculty, highlighting the importance of hands-on learning in nursing education. It provided first-semester students with a deeper understanding of human anatomy through creative model building and peer-to-peer learning.
