Role Play on Tobacco & Alcohol Prevention – Fifth Semester B.Sc. Nursing Students 2026
On 6th June 2026, the Fifth Semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, performed a role play at Kakanwadi Village as part of their Community Health Nursing activity.
Role Play on Tobacco & Alcohol Prevention
The role play covered the topics of Tobacco Prevention and Alcohol Prevention in a single performance. The aim was to create awareness among the villagers about the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol use.
The students who participated were: Ms. Gayatri, Mr. Vinayak K., Mr. Rakesh P., Ms. Swati H., Ms. Ashwini, Ms. Poornima, Ms. Varsha, and Ms. Mahek.
Their performance was realistic and meaningful, helping the community understand important health education messages in a simple and effective way.



Community Impact & Outcomes
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, and was coordinated by Ms. Savitri Janamatti, PG Nursing Tutor, and Mrs. Samarin Awati, UG Nursing Tutor.
This activity provided students with practical field experience and contributed to community health education.
