Message from the Principal

The BLDE Association established BLDEA’S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi in the year 2022 with an annual intake of 40 students. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and the Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bengaluru. The institute strives to maintain a balanced curriculum that provides students with a well-rounded education, integrating theory, practical training, and exposure to modern medical practices.

At BLDEA’S College of Nursing, academic excellence is a way of life. Guided by our motto, “Nurses for the World,” we are deeply committed to preparing nursing professionals who are competent, compassionate, and globally relevant.

The college maintains a strong academic culture by regularly organizing guest lectures, seminars, and workshops at both state and national levels. Our undergraduate programme is implemented in accordance with global standards, encompassing both curricular and co-curricular activities. Emphasis is placed on research-based, comprehensive, and holistic healthcare education, with a special focus on addressing the health needs of rural communities.

Most of our stakeholders come from rural and semi-rural backgrounds, and the institution actively undertakes various extension and community outreach activities in semi-urban and rural areas. The college is supported by a highly committed and experienced faculty team that demonstrates professionalism in all aspects of teaching-learning, academic growth, and leadership.

I am confident that BLDEA’S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi will continue to nurture future nursing professionals who will serve society with dedication, skill, and integrity.
