Role Play – Awareness on Drug Addiction at Kakanwadi Village – Seventh Semester B.Sc. Nursing Students 2026
On 6th June 2026, the Seventh Semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, performed a role play at Kakanwadi Village as part of their Community Health Nursing activity.
Role Play on Drug Addiction Awareness
The role play covered the topic of Drug Addiction. The aim was to create awareness among villagers about the harmful effects of drug addiction, its prevention, and the importance of leading a healthy life free from substance abuse.
The students who participated were: Mr Anwar, Mr Shridhar, Mr Sunil, Mr Sudeep, Mr Amarnath, Mr Nithin, Mr Muttappa, Mr Praveen, and Mr Gaddeppa.
Their performance was realistic, impactful, and meaningful, helping the community understand important health education messages in a simple and effective manner.


Community Impact & Outcomes
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, and was coordinated by Mrs Shivaleela Sarawad, Assistant Professor, and Ms Shashikala Mudhol, UG Nursing Tutor.
This activity provided students with valuable field experience and significantly contributed to community health education and awareness building.
