BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, organized the Research Project Statement of Problem Presentation for the Eighth Semester B.Sc. Nursing students on 07 August 2026.

The presentation was graced by Prof. S. H. Lagali, Administrative Officer, BLDE Association, Jamkhandi, and Mr. Kulkarni, Statistician and Research Expert, as Research Experts, and was presided over by Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. M., Principal.

A total of four groups participated, with each group presenting two research statements of the problem. After critical evaluation, the Research Experts selected one research topic from each group based on its relevance, originality, feasibility, research significance, and ethical considerations. The groups were guided by Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. M., Mrs. Shivaleela Sarawad, Mr. Anil Mane, and Ms. Savitri Janamatti. The Research Experts provided valuable observations, constructive feedback, and suggestions to strengthen the proposed studies, and appreciated the students' confidence, presentation skills, and innovative ideas.

In his presidential address, Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. M. emphasized the importance of research in evidence-based nursing practice. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Muttappa H., and was smoothly compered by Ms. Vandhana Chikkaraddi and Ms. Arati, Eighth Semester B.Sc. Nursing students.
