On the occasion of World Environment Day, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, organised a Tree Plantation Programme at the BLDE Campus, Jamkhandi, on 5th June 2026. The programme aimed to promote environmental conservation and create awareness about the importance of protecting nature.

The Tree Plantation Programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi. During the event, saplings were planted in the campus premises to promote environmental conservation and create awareness about the importance of protecting nature.

Teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and nursing students enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive and pledged to contribute towards maintaining a clean, green, and healthy environment. The programme highlighted the significance of tree plantation in preserving ecological balance and ensuring a sustainable future.

The programme underscored the critical role that educational institutions play in fostering environmental responsibility. By actively participating in the plantation drive, the BLDEA'S College of Nursing community demonstrated its commitment to sustainable living and ecological preservation.

The event concluded with a message encouraging everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices and actively participate in environmental protection activities. The plantation initiative reinforced the college's dedication to nurturing not just healthcare professionals but also responsible citizens who care for the environment and the communities they serve.

ಜಮಖಂಡಿ, ಜೂನ್ 5: ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬಿ.ಎಲ್.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಜಮಖಂಡಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 2026ರ ಜೂನ್ 5 ರಂದು ಬಿ.ಎಲ್.ಡಿ.ಇ. ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವೃಕ್ಷಾರೋಪಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ವೀರಭದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಜಿ. ಮೆಂಡಗುದ್ದಲಿ ಅವರು ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ಹಸಿರು ಪರಿಸರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಬೋಧಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ-ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಸಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು. ಪರಿಸರ ಸಮತೋಲನ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
