World Cancer Day 2026 – Rangoli Presentation Competition

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, observed on 6th February 2026, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, organised a Rangoli Presentation Competition for students under the theme "United by Unique."

Competition Overview

The competition was judged by Dr. Sujata Biradar and Dr. Shekar Teli, Assistant Professors from BLDEA'S Pharmacy College, Jamkhandi, who assessed the rangoli presentations based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation.

A total of nine students participated in the competition, showcasing their artistic skills and deep understanding of the theme. Their rangoli presentations reflected innovation, awareness, and advocacy for cancer prevention.

The winners were felicitated with certificates by Dr. Sujata Biradar and Mrs. Shivaleela Sarawad, Assistant Professor, who congratulated all participants for their dedication and creativity and encouraged them to continue participating in such meaningful initiatives.

Conclusion

The event was successfully organised under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi. Mrs. Rajeshwari Kambi, Assistant Professor, efficiently coordinated the competition, delivering the welcome address and vote of thanks and ensuring the smooth execution of the event.

The competition provided an excellent platform to promote awareness, creativity, and advocacy for cancer prevention, reinforcing the commitment of BLDEA'S College of Nursing to public health education and community engagement.
