Ms. Vandana H. Chikaraddi, a Seventh Semester B.Sc. Nursing student of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, brought laurels to the institution by representing Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) at the All-India Inter-University Women's Netball Tournament 2025–26, hosted by Krishna University, Machalipattana (AP), from 14th to 18th February 2026. In recognition of her commendable performance and dedication to sports, the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of RGUHS, Bhagawan B. C., conferred upon her the prestigious University Blue Honour, along with a medal and certificate of appreciation.

About the Achievement

Ms. Vandana H. Chikaraddi was selected to represent RGUHS at the All-India Inter-University Women's Netball Tournament 2025–26 through University Selection Trials held at BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Tikota. She was among twelve players chosen from across RGUHS-affiliated institutions to represent the university at this prestigious national-level inter-university tournament.

The tournament was organised by Krishna University, Machalipattana (AP), from 14th to 18th February 2026, with universities from across the country participating. Ms. Chikaraddi's selection to the RGUHS team and her active participation at the national level marked a proud moment for BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi.

In recognition of her commendable performance and dedication to sports, the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of RGUHS, Bhagawan B. C., personally felicitated Ms. Vandana H. Chikaraddi with a medal and a certificate of appreciation, and conferred upon her the University Blue Honour — one of the highest distinctions awarded to a student-athlete by the university for outstanding representation at the national level.
