The first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, successfully organised a Sociology & Psychology Model Exhibition and Presentation on Saturday, 11th April 2026, at the Seminar Hall, showcasing their academic understanding through creative group project models.

About the Exhibition

The exhibition was graced by distinguished guests, Dr. Madumatti, Assistant Professor, BLDEA'S Pharmacy College, Jamkhandi, and Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, along with faculty members, making the event a grand success.

A total of eight groups presented models on various important topics related to Sociology and Psychology:

  • Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
  • Family Dynamics
  • Social Problems
  • Trial and Error Theory of Learning
  • Urban and Rural Community Dynamics
  • Developmental Stages
  • Stress and its Social Impact
  • Fundamental Rights of Individuals

Each group presented their models in a simple, clear, and informative manner, making complex concepts easy to understand through thoughtfully designed visual aids and creative three-dimensional models.

Evaluation & Guest Appreciation

After each group's presentation, Dr. Madumatti personally evaluated the models and appreciated the students for their:

  • Hard work and dedication in preparing the models
  • Clarity of explanation during the presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of Sociology and Psychology concepts

Following the guest's remarks, Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, also praised the students' efforts and acknowledged the faculty for their guidance and support in organising the event successfully.

Learning Outcomes

The Sociology & Psychology Model Exhibition provided the first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students with an excellent platform to apply their theoretical knowledge creatively, strengthen their communication skills, and develop a deeper understanding of behavioural and social science concepts that are fundamental to holistic nursing practice.
