BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi organised an Intercollegiate Pot Painting Competition on 8th May 2026 as part of the International Nurses Week Celebrations 2026, under the theme "Nurses: The Heart of Health Care."

A total of 7 students from various nursing colleges participated in this creative competition, showcasing their artistic skills through beautifully decorated pots reflecting the spirit of nursing care and the event theme.

The competition was judged by:

• Mrs. Poornima Surpur – Assistant Professor, BLDEA's Degree College, Jamkhandi
• Mrs. Ashwini Ananthpur – Assistant Professor, BLDEA's College of Education, Jamkhandi

After careful evaluation, the following students were declared winners of the Pot Painting Competition:

Prizes and certificates were distributed during the International Nurses Day Celebration held on 12th May 2026 in the presence of dignitaries.

The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Savitri J., PG Nursing Tutor, under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi.

The Intercollegiate Pot Painting Competition provided a vibrant platform for nursing students to express their creativity and celebrate the essence of nursing through art, beautifully embodying the spirit of International Nurses Week 2026.
