Intercollegiate Rangoli Competition 2026
An Intercollegiate Rangoli Competition was organised at BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi on 8th May 2026 as part of the International Nurses Week Celebrations 2026, under the theme "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives."
Event Overview
A total of 12 students from various nursing colleges participated in the competition, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills through rangoli designs that depicted the spirit of nursing and the event theme.
The competition was judged by:
- Mrs. Poornima Surpur – Assistant Professor, BLDEA'S Degree College, Jamkhandi
- Mrs. Ashwini Ananthpur – Assistant Professor, BLDEA'S College of Education, Jamkhandi

After a thorough evaluation by the judges, the following students were declared winners:

Prizes and certificates were distributed during the International Nurses Day Celebration held on 12th May 2026 in the presence of dignitaries.
Coordination & Conclusion
The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Jyothi Mareguddi and Ms. Aishwarya, UG Nursing Tutors, under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi.
The competition provided an excellent platform for students to express their creativity while reinforcing the values of nursing and the importance of the global nursing theme for 2026.
