Hands-On CPR Training for Staff & Students – World Heart Day 2025 | BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi
On the occasion of World Heart Day 2025, students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi organized a hands-on CPR training session for the staff and students of BLDE BBA, Jamkhandi, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Seminar Hall.
Inauguration
The programme was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mrs. Triveni Bilagi, Assistant Professor, BLDEA's BBA College, Jamkhandi, and Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi.

CPR Training & Hands-On Demonstrations
The training session was conducted by nursing students Ms. Ankita M, Ms. Deepa V, and Mr. Deeraj under the supervision of Mr. Anil Mane, PG Nursing Tutor, BLDEA'S College of Nursing.
The students demonstrated the steps and importance of CPR in cardiac emergencies, highlighting how timely intervention can save lives. Participants were then guided to perform return demonstrations to ensure proper understanding of the technique, including correct hand placement, compression depth, and rescue breathing.
The practical session equipped BBA staff and students with the confidence and skills to respond effectively to cardiac arrest situations in real-life emergencies.





Participants & Conclusion
The session was attended by a large gathering of BLDE BBA staff and students, who actively engaged with the demonstrations and participated enthusiastically in the hands-on exercises.
The session was highly appreciated by all participants for its practical approach and informative content, significantly enhancing their awareness and readiness for cardiac emergencies. The training reinforced the importance of CPR knowledge as a critical life-saving skill.
The event was conducted under the valuable guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa Mendagudli, Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, and coordinated by Mr. Anil Mane, PG Nursing Tutor.
