Anatomy & Physiology Model Exhibition 2026
The first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, successfully organised an Anatomy & Physiology Model Exhibition and Presentation on Friday, 10th April 2026, at the Seminar Hall, showcasing their understanding of human body systems through creative group models and informative presentations.
About the Exhibition
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Varsha and Ms. Sushmita (5th Semester students), who highlighted the importance of such exhibitions in enhancing practical learning. The distinguished guests were then felicitated by the Principal and faculty members with tokens of appreciation.
The exhibition was graced by distinguished guests:
- Dr. Sphurti Tungal — Consultant Gynaecologist, Tungal Nursing Home, Jamkhandi
- Dr. B. Shivakumar — Principal, BLDEA'S Pharmacy College, Jamkhandi
- Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli — Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi
A total of eight groups presented models on various human body systems:
- Circulatory System
- Musculoskeletal System
- Renal System
- Digestive System
- Skin (Integumentary) System
- Nervous System
- Respiratory System
- Female & Male Reproductive System
Each group presented their models in a simple, clear, and informative manner, making complex anatomical and physiological concepts easy to understand through thoughtfully designed visual aids and creative three-dimensional models.




Guest Appreciation & Closing Remarks
After each group's presentation, Dr. Sphurti Tungal and the other distinguished guests appreciated the students for their:
- Hard work and dedication in preparing the models
- Clarity of explanation during the presentations
- In-depth knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology concepts
- Creativity, research, and attention to detail
Following the guests' remarks, Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. Mendagudli, Principal, also praised the students' efforts and acknowledged the faculty for their guidance and support in organising the event successfully.




Learning Outcomes
The Anatomy & Physiology Model Exhibition provided the first-semester B.Sc. Nursing students with an excellent platform to apply their theoretical knowledge creatively, strengthen their communication and presentation skills, and deepen their understanding of the human body systems that form the foundation of clinical nursing practice.
