On the occasion of the 36th Death Anniversary of Founder Shri B. M. Patil, the Fifth Semester B.Sc. Nursing students of BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi, conducted a Free School Health Check-up Camp for the students of BLDEA'S Public School, Jamkhandi, on July 27, 2026.

The camp was coordinated by Ms. Ashwini Awati, UG Nursing Tutor, under the guidance of Dr. Veerabhadrappa G. M., Principal, BLDEA'S College of Nursing, Jamkhandi. The nursing students conducted health screening, including measurement of height and weight, general physical examination, assessment of personal hygiene, dental and nutritional status, and provided first aid, health counselling, hygiene education, and nutritional guidance.

The School Principal appreciated the dedicated services rendered by the nursing students. The programme promoted early detection of health problems, created awareness about healthy lifestyle practices, and provided valuable community health learning experiences for the nursing students.
